Control who sees your meeting types

Appointlet's scheduling page system is a powerful tool that allows you to control the visibility of your services and how clients may interact with them. By default, Appointlet assigns all meeting types to the "public" status so that they're visible on the live scheduling page. However, sometimes it may be useful to hide meeting types so that they aren't available to the general public.

Premium subscribers may assign meeting types to the "hidden" status option which hides it from the live scheduler. This is especially helpful when it comes to the following scenarios:

1. Specific meeting types are meant to be accessed by eligible attendees only.

2. You need to book meetings internally on behalf of your clients.

3. You'd prefer to link to a meeting type directly instead of prompting clients to select it from the list on your scheduler.

Assigning a Meeting Type Status

Navigate to the Pages tab of your dashboard and select the meeting type you'd like to edit. The status selector is located in the top right corner of the meeting type editor. Click the dropdown menu to review your meeting type status options.

Public

Public meeting types are visible to anyone with access to the scheduling page link. When someone clicks the link, all public meeting types will be listed.

Hidden

Hidden meeting types are active, but are not visible on the live scheduling page link. In order to access a hidden meeting type, you'll need to share the direct meeting type link so your clients can bypass the meeting type selection step of the scheduling flow.

Disabled

Disabled meeting types may only be accessed by team members with login access to the Appointlet account. While assigned to the "disabled" state, a meeting type cannot be booked by anyone. This is a helpful tool for free users who need to prep meeting types ahead of time without displaying them on the live scheduling page.
