How to quickly copy settings between Meeting Types

Managing various services or leading a large team requires precision when configuring meeting types. Appointlet's innovative Save and Apply tool alleviates the complexity of updating numerous meeting types individually, allowing you to efficiently mirror settings across your services.

Prerequisites

In order to save and apply changes between multiple meeting types, you’ll need to:

  • Have an active Appointlet account

  • Be assigned to either the “Member,” “Admin,” or “Owner” role in your Members settings. Keep in mind any team members assigned to the “Booker” role are not permitted to use this feature.

How the Save & Apply Feature Works

This feature allows you to make alterations to one meeting type and conveniently apply those same modifications to multiple others. Here's a step-by-step breakdown:

  1. Open Meeting Type Editor: On your Appointlet dashboard, click on the desired meeting type to access the editor.

  2. Implement Your Changes: Update the settings as required for the selected meeting type.

  3. Initiate the Save & Apply Process: Instead of just saving, click on the dropdown arrow next to the save button. From the dropdown, choose "Save and Apply Changes to..."

  4. Select Tabs & Meeting Types: A window will pop up displaying a list of updated editor tabs. For each tab:

    • Toggle ON (blue) to apply changes.

    • Toggle OFF (grey) if you wish to exclude that tab's updates.

    After setting your tabs, choose the other meeting types you intend to update with these settings.

5. Finalize the Process: Click the green Save and Apply Changes button. Your selected meeting types will now mirror the settings you’ve adjusted.
